Cat: So, what do we think about blogging?
Bird: A bit like going outside without your fur; in our case, leaving the nest without our feathers – depends what the weather’s like, of course.
Cat: So, it’s sort of like exposing yourself?
Bird: Yes, but you can be careful - I mean, you wouldn’t go out in a storm, would you?
Cat: And tweeting?
Bird: That comes naturally to birds. Short tweets. They should make it official.
Cat: And the point – to get known, I suppose? To promote ourselves.
Bird: Yes, and to communicate – an easy way to keep in touch.
Mouse: They should have tweeting for us. We’re far more isolated. We’re so busy struggling to stay alive, we don’t have time to network. We should be allowed short tweets: advertise our strengths.
Cat: Humans get 140 character tweets don’t they?
Bird: Yes. Cats could have 60 and birds and mice 20. Could you manage to tweet in 20 characters, mouse?
Mouse: Definitely. But no showing off, no monkey business either.
Cat: Monkeys don’t tweet, do they?

Chirpily yours
Jane
